River Flood Characteristics Along the Canal Area Effected By Hanzhuang Canal Jacking

In this paper, flood characteristics along the canal area effected by Hanzhuang Canal jacking are studied. By coupling rainfall runoff (NAM) model with hydrodynamic (HD) model, a 1-D hydrologic-hydrodynamic was built. On basis of parameter calibration and validation, different simulation schemes drawn up, influence range tributaries affected analyzed respectively. The results show that increasing discharge Canal, water level rises gradually, main stream flows upstream tributaries, risk disasters increases. Among Taogou River is most has highest disaster, followed Dasha River, Floodway Sizhi Ditch. also backwater on mainly reflected in process, but little or no which can provide reference for regional control scheduling department.
